I did this in april, -05.
I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out.
Even though it's a recreated picture, I like it..
But to learn to do drawings like this without looking at another persons drawing is a big goal of mine..

I think you did a pretty good job of copying the original (thank you for saying you were referring to the picture when you were drawing btw, not everyone admits that) but behind his other shoulder there should be a framework for a wing made from metal and tubing stuff. There should also be a rip on the same side, right between the top of his shoulder and where that tubing connects to him. The top hand also looks a little flat. Sorry for the anal-retentiveness, you did a pretty good job on it and I think you will be able to do a lot better in the future, keep at it!
